Fiction

I write very short stories. A few pieces were published in Columbia magazine and in Ben Marcus’ no longer extant online literary magazine Impossible Object.

“To Change the Carburetor” (Mcsweeney’s online)

Here is a hypertext poem that I wrote using a very strict set of constraints.

I was one of the almost-founding members of the literary collective v.e.r.b.a.t.i.m. (I missed the first meeting, but was there at the 2nd. And after all, a collective that only meets once can hardly be called a collective!) We met weekly for several years and now continue to meet occasionally in my living room in Oakland, and maybe other places in the world too.

I don’t know if the Fab Fab Fab Fab Fab Vocabs counts as fiction, but it’s certainly not nonfiction.
