First, please understand that although there are thirty riddles, there are only six answers. So if you figure out the answer to one riddle, you know the answer to four others. On the desktop, you see a grid of cards with question marks on them. By clicking on a card, you uncover a riddle. All the riddles in a particular vertical column have the same answer. The riddles in the same horizontal row have some words in common. There are five keywords which the riddles in each row share. These keywords are clues to an answer – BUT they are not clues to any riddle in which they are contained. By noting which column does not intersect with a given row, you can figure out which keywords to apply to which riddles. To explore the "puzzle" you can either use the desktop and click on the various cards, or navigate from one riddle to the next using the arrows which accompany the text of the riddles. By clicking on the down arrow, you get to another riddle with the same answer (i.e. one in the same column). By clicking on the right arrow, you get to a riddle with the same keywords. The answers to the riddles are all one or two-word phrases and are not contained anywhere within the piece. The chef suggests that this piece be puzzled over with a friend.
